Star Musician, Wizkid Rented Reportedly Purchased Lekki Mansion!
...the truth behind his collapsed relationship with Banky W.

The much celebrated story that star musician, Wizkid purchased a Lekki, Lagos mansion may be false after all.

Sources just confirmed the break away singer actually rented the 'house'

He is said to have shelled out a tidy sum for a long term occupancy agreement.

According to an insider 'in fact he is yet to fully sort out the fee agreed on...but he has paid a very large part of it'

This fresh revelations now put paid to multiple reports that gave credits of ownership of the house to Mr Ayo Balogun.

Sources confirmed the story of 'buying the abode' was leaked as part of publicity gimmicks- and it panned out.

Insiders revealed it as 'purely borne out of desire to fully take charge of his businesses' and the inherent wealth.

According to an insider, the 23yr old ' believes he has come of age... it is time for him to do away with those unduly feeding fat off him'

Insiders revealed till he left to link up with current label, Star Boy ( which he is rumoured to own)- Wizkid did not lay any major complain against Bank W and his team.

Sources further revealed in order to down play the backlash of the departure of the biggest artiste on his label, Mr W has chosen not to engage Wizkid over the development.

This is against the backdrop of speculation that the musician has an existing contract with his E.M.E.

Divulged a source 'Banky doesn't want the possible controversies of wrangling to take the shine off his work and brand...that is why he opted for the more matured approach of low profile and quiet handling of the issue'

A prototype of this approached came to be at ‘The Grand Love Project’, the  musical concert staged by Banky W on  Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island.

The musical star and his girlfriend- Tani arrived the event late and till they left, were unrecognised by Mr Wellington and his crew.
