Gov Rotimi Amaechi Challenges Gospellers Of Financial Muscle Talks.

Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi has challenged promoters of talks that he his utilising funds meant for developmental purposes to promote the activities of political party, All Progressives Party to prove the allegations.

The Rivers state helmsman threw the challenge while dismissing the talks as untrue.

The man with the politics of his state in his palm shot down all talks of using state resources to fund his political party at the  launch of the campaign of the man he backs to succeed him, Dr Peterside Dakuku, the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate in Rivers state.

The event transpired at the Liberation Stadium in Port Harcourt.

Governor Amaechi specifically stated ‘The Rivers State Government has no money to

Gov Rotimi Amaechi

fund the APC.

They have been accusing me of using Rivers money to fund the APC. The APC is a big party. So, it can fund its activities.’

He then went on to challenge all the talkers to provide proof.

‘I do not fund the APC with Rivers’ money. I challenge all those who have been accusing me of funding the APC to show just one account through which I fund the APC with monies belonging to Rivers State.’

He equally used the opportunity to provided reasons his party’s presidential flag bearer Muhammadu Buhari should be voted into office – and how the electorate can help to achieve this.

‘Buhari can win the presidential election if you vote for him. Your vote can make the needed change in Nigeria. Buhari will make sure that the thieves amongst Nigerians do not steal your money again.

‘He will then use the money he has saved from the thieves amongst Nigerians to build roads, infrastructure and fight poverty and create jobs for millions of Nigerians’ the state helmsman stated.
