Ex Millitant Holding Govt To Ransom Over $16b Project, Tompolo Acquires 7 Battle Ships!

Mr Government Ekpemupolo, the former Niger Delta militant leader holding government to ranson over the commissioning of $16b project in Delta State as a result of location has made a worrisome acquisition.


The individual who forced President Goodluck Jonathan to postpone his visit on security grounds and widely known as Tompolo is said to have purchased seven decommissioned Norwegian battleships.


Reports credited to Punch claim Norwegian newspaper, Dagbladet unveiled the development.


Dagbladet is said to have disclosed that ‘the fast – speed Hauk – class guided missile boats had been re-armed with new weaponry’.


Further revelations from the report have it that Tompolo’s latest property is ‘a KNM, a fast- attack craft now used in fighting piracy in Nigeria’s waterways’.


The battle ships are now said to be part of the operations of Global West Vessel Service, a privately owned firm controlled by Tompolo which is said to provide maritime security for Nigerian Maritime Safety Agency.


Tracing the manner of the acquisition, the report has it that the battle ships were first sold to CAS Global, a British security company - with the required export license from the Nigeria’s Ministry of

Foreign Affairs for such a deal –who in turn sold them to Tompolo.


On the book holder of the battle ships, Global West Vessel Service is defined as under ‘marine patrolling contract’ with the Federal Government.
