President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday summoned Ibrahim Idris, the
inspector-general of police, over the kidnap of Peter Breunig and
Johannes Behringer, German archaeologists, in Kaduna state.|
to NAN, Idris briefed the acting president on the efforts the police
have made to rescue the victims unhurt and apprehend the kidnappers.
police had since dispatched a team of special forces and investigators
to work in synergy with the indigenes of towns and surrounding villages
where the victims were kidnapped.
