Abike Dabiri's Move To Return To House Of Reps For 4th Term Runs Into Trouble!

The political ambition of House of Representatives member, Abike Dabiri has ran into troubled waters.

The Ikorodu politician is making spirited attempts to return to the House of Representatives for a fourth term.

The former broadcaster was first elected a federal lawmaker in 2013.

She was at was touted as a deputy governorship candidate in her last political outing, but the talks did not transform into reality. She returned to the House of Representatives.

And wants yet another chance to represent the people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

Insiders however disclosed a groundswell opposition against her ambition is on.

efforts against the law maker have adopted official stance.

All oppositions against the federal lawmaker’s re election bid have come under the umbrella of ‘ Ikorodu Revolutionary Movement’.

The group is said to be made up of mostly youths in the area that advocate change as espoused by Abike’s party, All Progressives Congress.

The group believe that there are many eminent people of Ikorodu who could represent Ikorodu's interest better than Abike. Moves by the federal lawmaker with 12years under her belt and seeking additional four years to make it 16 years to quell the growing opposition are not clear at press time.
